Art is an expression of what's inside you: whether it's a story you write or a drawing you create. It is therapeutic, meaning "it helps you heal" because everyone, young or old needs an outlet to express themselves and art is the vehicle for this outlet.
My background in visual arts includes classes at MD Institute of Art and Towson University. I also have experience in video production and filmmaking as a former employee in television production at MD Center for Public Broadcasting, and photography experience through journalism classes at University of Maryland, College Park, MD. My writing experience developed through graduate Creative Writing classes at Johns Hopkins University and through years of essays as an undergraduate student at University of Maryland. It was here where I was conferred with a Bachelors of Arts Degree with Honors. My minor was Anthropology. I believe there is joy and hidden talents in everyone. It's just a question of "tapping into it." I would be honored to explore your hidden gems of creativity.
