I am currently a Senior at the University of Arizona where I am pursuing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Minor in Business Administration. I have about two and a half years of tutoring experience in subjects such as Math, English, Spanish, and Accounting. In high school, I tutored students in Math and English for two years. I also tutored an eighth grade student in Spanish 1 on a weekly basis. I have taken math courses through AP Calculus and about 7 years of Spanish courses. In college, I was recently an Accounting TA where I held weekly office hours to help students with homework, upcoming tests, and understanding overall concepts. Although I have experience teaching several different subject areas, I am most passionate about writing, grammar, and essay editing. I was a writer and editor for my high school newspaper and literary magazine. I have taken English courses through AP Literature. I have also taken courses such as Expository writing, Creative writing, and college English. Above all, I enjoy helping others and working with students to be the best version of themselves. I work to instill helpful traits and strategies in students that will last a lifetime and can help them succeed in any future career. I am most successful as a teacher when working one-on-one with students of any age, especially middle school to high school.
