Certified Tutor

I hold a Master of Business from Liberty University with an additional graduate Certificate in Educational Technology and Online Instruction consisting of four (4) additional graduate classes equalling 12 educational hours. My Associates degree was in Legal Studies and my Bachelors was in Business Administration.
I worked in the State of Florida legal system for twenty (20) years. Ten years of this twenty, I was teaching volunteers how to represent abused children in the court system. The pre-service training consisted of forty (40) hours of training adults of all ages. Then monthly, I provided additional 4 hours of continuing educational training to more than 300 certified volunteers who were due for re-certification.
When I retired from the court system, I qualified to teach with the Escambia County School District as a substitute teacher in any available K-12 class. I would receive a call or text daily listing the classes that were available to teach and then select one to teach. This demonstrates my ability to teach a variety of core educational subjects with little advanced notification. It also demonstrated my diversity in age groups for students. I usually chose grades 4 through 9 students. I used lesson plans provide by the absent/vacationing teacher and adapted to that focus. With only 6 hours of warning I was able to review the information and complete the substitution duties well.
