I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I am a certified Elementary teacher for grades K-6 (English, Math, Science, and History). I have a Reading Endorsement and an ESOL Endorsement. I have been a teacher for six years in the state of Florida with three years in first grade and four years in fifth grade. I have experience working with students with diverse backgrounds, learning abilities, and styles. I also have two years of experience working as an Online ESL Teacher teaching English as a foreign language. I am an expert in teaching Phonics and Reading skills to children. I have a love of literature and helping children see that reading can be fun. Teaching and helping children reach their fullest potential is my passion. It is my mission to cultivate a love for learning in a fun, safe, and caring environment.

I am a book nerd! I love to read all types of books ranging from fantasy to historical fiction. My favorite book is "A Land Remembered" by Patrick D. Smith. I live on a farm with my husband, two dogs, a cat, ten ducks, and twenty-three chickens! I enjoy gardening and tending to my animals. I am an avid runner and enjoy working out to live a healthy lifestyle.
