Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Furman University and I hold a bachelor's degree in music education. I am also a trombonist and this is my 12th year playing the trombone. I am dedicated to the study of all genres of music to include classical and jazz. Some of my most significant leadership experiences have been teaching music to young musicians. I have given lessons to middle and high school musicians. When it comes to music, I model dedication, motivation, initiative, and professional behavior. I hope to ultimately become a collegiate music educator but would also like experience teaching at the middle and high school levels. I also hope to become a part of a local orchestra to continue playing my instrument. My dream is to study music all over the world and bring these experiences back home to offer my students a world view of music. In addition to being a musician and music educator, I am also a certified lifeguard, swim instructor, and swim coach. Swimming has been a part of my life for 11 years and I am dedicated to keeping people safe in the water, as well as teaching people about competitive swimming, water safety, and basic swim skills.
