Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Argosy University (online) where I earned a DBA/PhD. I also earned four other degrees: two from the University of Phoenix: MBA and BS in Business Management. Two AS degrees: Marketing and Management from Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor in Michigan.

Presently, I work in the Amphitheater School district in Tucson, AZ for six years. Three of the six years I worked as a substitute teacher at several middle and elementary schools. Also, back in Michigan I worked as a teachers aide. Part of my responsibilities were to work one-on-one with students at various times.

I enjoy working with students. I want to be part of the group of inspirational individuals to the student. I want to be motivate students to become the best they can be in school and life. I believe that if the student work hard they can accomplish anything. Part of the challenge for students today is to maintain their focus and avoid the pitfalls and road blocks that would derail them from reaching their goals.
I enjoy interacting with students. I want to engage their intellect as well as their character. My teaching style is a mixture of empathy and understanding mixed with critical thinking skills. This is my way of helping students challenge themselves to become a little better than they were the day before. I also employ patience in my teaching approach. This will reassure students that I am on their side so I can earn their trust.
When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also, enjoy playing board and card games, volley ball and chess.
