I've been an instructor of Game Design and Development topics since 2017, starting while I was getting my Bachelors and Masters of Science in the very field at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I've mostly focused on teaching introductory through advanced topics of game development with Unity Engine; C#, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript coding; and 2D and 3D design and development. Why I continue to tutor today boils down to one simple thing: Inspiration!
I not only want to guide students in coding practices, but also to inspire their ambition and passion to pursue knowledge, and use it to developing their dream games and projects. I like to take a personalized approach with my lessons - even in a group teaching setting, I like to tailor lessons in a way that allows students to follow the lesson plan while putting in their own personal touches along the way.
I grew up as a very reserved and anxious student myself, so it's also important to me that whether it's a one-on-one or group situation, that the student(s) can feel comfortable to take things at their own pace, and be able to express themselves from questions to passions.

I love both making and playing games, of course. I'm a huge fan of Japanese RPG's, simulation/building games (like Stardew Valley, Minecraft, Animal Crossing), puzzle games, and table-top games like Dungeon's and Dragons. I've also been a hobbyist character artist, practicing 2D and 3D digital art for more than 10 years now - in other words, I'd love to hear about your original characters!
