Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Law Enforcement and Social Work. I also have a diploma in nursing from Northshore Technical Community College. As a student I was fortunate to have teachers that enjoyed what they were doing and consequently was always concerned about student achievement. In the past I did substitute teaching with the Tangipahoa Parish School Board. I always enjoyed assisting students with their work assignments. I feel most competent to tutor English and Reading . These have always been my favorite subjects and courses that I excelled in. Learning is a necessary part of life and my love for learning never ceases. I love the quote from Benjamin Franklin. "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching sports and old Western movies with my husband, and traveling.
