Certified Tutor

I have been a language student myself for the longest time and until my brain stops cooperating I'll learn as many languages as I can. Sharing learning tips and teaching what is actually useful in real life are my two main goals as a tutor. I know how daunting it can be to figure out an entire language alone and learning a foreign language is all about communicating and sharing.
I think of students as worlds to discover. What I have to offer to them is my knowledge and passion for my language and in exchange I get the satisfaction of helping them pursue their passions and dreams as well as the chance to share a piece of home.
I have a B.A. in translation studies from Universit degli Studi di Macerata, an MBA from Universit degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi and a CEDILS certificate to teach Italian as a second language issued by Ca' Foscari University.
I teach Italian grammar, vocabulary and culture as well as conversational Italian and I help students prepare for their CELI and CILS exams.
I believe that to be a good teacher listening is key. Understanding my students helps me tailor classes to their needs and maintain a flexible approach along the way.
In my spare time I go from being outdoorsy to a full-on homebody. I am very fond of outdoor activities when the weather is warm and I'll happily knit a sweater and read a book by the fireplace when I don't feel like facing the world.
