I'm a recent graduate of Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Law. I had a minor in communication, and graduated summa cum laude from the Honors College. While in college, I was President of our Mock Trial Club, which required me to educate new members about the nuances of trial advocacy (such as broader procedure, criminal and tort law, and my favorite: rules of evidence).
Before embarking on my pre-law journey, I was always a musician, and I remain one at heart. I'm a percussionist, and I've played anywhere from the Arizona All-State Band to casual rock bands with my friends. Regardless of the context, music primed me to see the art in everything that I do. It has influenced the way I live my life, the way I think, and now the way I teach. As captain of my high school drum line, I discovered that different people learn in vastly different ways, and it's entirely the instructor's responsibility to adapt to that. Failure to understand a concept reflects on the teacher rather than the student, and I now know this quite well having led several competitive teams, I rely on the students who I teach. As an LSAT instructor, it's my responsibility to adapt to your learning habits and ensure a deeper understanding. What's more: I take what I do seriously when you hire me, your LSAT success is my mission.
I can surely get excited and ramble about music or about mock trial, but the same could be said of the LSAT! I truly had a great time preparing for and taking the test, and I'm here to ensure that you get the same experience. I'm looking forward to working with you!
