I received my Master of Fine Arts from the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop. Currently, I teach online and in-person undergraduate courses. I am an experienced teacher, having taught literature and writing courses, including creative writing. As a tutor, I am knowledgeable in essay writing, my specialty. Emphasizing the writing process, I approach tutoring with an open mind and seek to provide an organic and personable tutoring experience. More importantly, I am an effective tutor whose focus is solely on exceeding student expectations. I enjoy helping students reach their educational goals, it's a rewarding experience. At times, it can be challenging, which is why I am always re-envisioning and adapting my tutoring style to meet the individual needs of each student. This ensures every session is productive and, hopefully, time well spent. My utmost priority is to never waste my students' time. I strive to provide meaningful guidance that ensures my students' academic success.
