I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I also received my Master of Science from UTEP in Professional Science with a focus on Applied Statistics and Big Data Analytics. While I've been in school, I've received extensive education in subjects such as math and calculus. My teaching experience revolves around helping those who do not consider themselves "good at math" understand the concepts in calculus and from there be able to solve problems. My favorite subject to teach is math and math-related topics such as calculus since I can then impart this simple philosophy to my students: being good at something is 90% practice and 10% innate skill. My tutoring style is very casual and interactive - that way, I can ensure that my students are comfortable coming to me with any questions, and from there create a more personalized experience for them. A good education opens up many opportunities for growth, and I want to help as many students as possible have access to these opportunities. In my spare time I like to learn and talk about personality psychology, travel, and learn meaningful information through reading and Youtube.
