I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota. I received my Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources. I am back in school studying to get my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Special Education. Since graduation, I have worked with students of all ages from birth to age eighteen. I am currently working with students who have experienced a large amount of trauma. Due to this, my students are significantly delayed in many subject areas. I have seen huge improvements since beginning my work with them. I have experience working with students who need extra support or struggle to stay engaged. I have worked with students with mental health issues as well, including anxiety disorder, ADHD, PTSD, depression, OCD and conduct disorders. I also work with test preparation. I have seen that education can be the key to success in so many. I believe that everyone should have access to the support that they need to be successful in their education. In my free time, I enjoy reading, yoga and spending time with my puppy.
