I am currently in my fourth semester at Haverford College in Pennsylvania, working towards a BA with an English major, education minor, and neuroscience minor. I plan on becoming an English teacher for secondary education, but I have experience in tutoring both English and math. I tend to adjust the way I teach to cater towards a student's strengths, learning styles, and interests. I always want students to be comfortable with understanding things at their own pace, but I also try to build the motivation and interest that allows them to challenge themselves as learners and to harness the skills needed to work independently with more confidence later on. When I'm not learning or helping others learn, I enjoy reading, playing piano, and having game nights with friends.
