Certified Tutor

I graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in biology and am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching degree at John Brown University. I hope to become a high school biology teacher after finishing my degree. I currently tutor in biology and life science because they are my most favorite areas in science. As a student and as a teacher, I believe that learning is accomplished best by being exposed to material in multiple modes (writing, drawing, videos). As a tutor, I also recognize the importance of getting to know my students' interests so that I can better understand how to relate the material to their point of view.
