Certified Tutor

I am a Graduate from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in French and I have recently completed my CELTA certificate to teach ESL learners. Ever since I was young I have always had a passion for languages learning French at a young age and Spanish a little later on as well. One of my biggest strengths as a tutor is that I understand the difficulties of learning a language and how to help others overcome these challenges. My goal as a tutor is to use fun, interactive exercises to help students develop and build their writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills. I believe that as a tutor it is my job to help the students develop their skills rather than have me lecture them about the different topics. I have previously worked with adult ESL learners and college peers in helping them with both English and French and am open to working with anyone of any age. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading, dancing, learning new things, chess, and video games.
