Certified Tutor

I am a first year dental student who focuses on helping other aspiring healthcare professionals achieve admission. I received my Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University, and Bachelor of Science from Virginia Commonwealth University. During both my graduate and undergraduate years I have been heavily involved in scientific research in oral biology and electroanalytical chemistry.
In regards to tutoring, my expertise is in general chemistry and organic chemistry; I have developed strategies to simplify difficult topics such as chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, HNMR spectroscopy, or functional group chemistry. Over time I've become impassioned by the material and enjoy seeing my students succeed in their courses.
Prior to beginning dental school this fall I have been working as a Scientist at a biotechnology company near Washington D.C. Therefore, whether it's to apply for medical or dental school, or recieve a reference to potential employers I can happily help!
