Certified Tutor

I have liked to help people with Math ever since I started learning it. I love to see people discover that they actually enjoy doing something that they previously thought they could never learn. I always jumped on the opportunity to help my friends with their homework in middle school and high school.

I am currently a student at Maryville College. I am working to get a degree in Mathematics. I worked for the Maryville College Academic Support Center for two years, where I led group studies and helped other college students do homework and study for tests. I have also taught many lessons at a public high school as a substitute teacher.
During my experiences, I have learned that there is not a "best way" to teach a specific thing. What works for one student doesn't work for every student, so I am willing to accommodate for that. I want to listen to what the student says works for them.
