Certified Tutor

I am a graduate from the University of Houston with a Bachelors degree in Geophysics and minors in Mathematics and Geology. Since my dreams have always been to teach I attended Texas A and M University in Corpus Christi, where I received educational training to teach students in all areas, with emphasis in Mathematics. I have two years of experience teaching in the middle school environment, where I was able to teach the curriculum in a fun and engaging way for students of various needs and learning styles to increase positive outcomes for students.

I have also tutored mathematics at the college level where I instructed small groups and tutored students in subjects related to Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Calculus. I strive to incorporate real world examples and student interests into my instruction for students to build confidence and character to become successful independent learners.
