I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in public policy.

I have seven years of experience in working with young people in both creative and academic capacities. I have three years of classroom teaching experience. Within my first year, I created and implemented a writing curriculum to address the gaps in my students' academic writing. After my second year, I increased the number of proficient readers in the 6th grade by eight percentage points.

I am extraordinarily passionate about helping students to gain confidence in their abilities, and overcome challenges.
