I recently graduated from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor in Arts major in Economics. I also was on the pre-med track and studied mathematics. I am from Connecticut and now live in Philadelphia. I love tutoring math. I know a lot of people grow up absolutely loathing the subject, but I have found that with the right teacher, every math problem is just another puzzle to solve. Whether its math or science, I believe every kid can succeed if they have the right tools available to them.

I love to hike! Over the last couple of months I have hiked all over the Shenandoah Valley. I am an avid reader. Currently I am reading Jane Eyre and it does not disappoint. Every now and then, I really enjoy baking one of the recipes my grandmother left me, several of which she brought over from France.
