I am a rising sophomore at Harvard University looking to study Biomedical Engineering. I have worked with kids of all ages in the past co-teaching middle school math with Breakthrough Houston, tutoring with the Nehemiah Center, and even teaching science and physical education in Bolivia. I am passionate about tutoring subjects in science, math, and Spanish. My tutoring style seeks to help my student understand concepts in a more holistic manner and connect to previous knowledge so that learning makes sense and is not just memorization. I think teaching in this way makes learning much more enjoyable and easier to cultivate an enthusiasm for learning as well.
