Hi! I am a graduate of the College of Charleston where I received my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from Clemson University. This is my second year teaching elementary education and I love it! I have taught third grade and fourth grade but I have experience teaching kindergarten through fifth grade. My favorite part about teaching and tutoring is helping students make connections between their thoughts and the world and have fun doing it! A quote that I live and teach by is : "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I remember, involve me and I learn" by Benjamin Franklin. To explain this quote, I believe that you need to not only teach students, but you need to involve students and teach lessons that are relatable to them so they are able to learn.
