I graduated from Penn State University in 2010 with a degree in Biobehavioral Health (similar to Public Health) after spending years of my undergraduate life searching for the right career path. I found that path in medicine as a physician assistant with some guidance from my Doctor/mentor on campus. I Completed my Master's in Physician Assistant Studies degree at Chatham University in Pittsburgh and haven't looked back since. My niche became dermatology, and I gained valuable experience over the past 11 years working with patients of all ages and backgrounds in the Washington DC metro area, New York City, and Northern California. In addition to teaching concepts of medicine to patients on a regular basis, I have also taught Physician Assistant students in a clinical setting and worked with them online as well, grading online projects and giving proper guidance for successful outcomes.

Throughout the course of my career, I've found the most joy in learning from my mentors and being a mentor for others. Without that instruction, I wouldn't be where I am today. I find this instruction so valuable, and am particular interested in providing that instruction for areas of study relating to medicine, such as biology and life sciences. I believe in a collaborative method of teaching, where the instructor and student express concerns and level of understanding openly to work together toward the student's success.

Outside of professional life, I greatly enjoy continued learning (currently working on piano), traveling, and self-improvement practices like meditation.
