Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of St.Joseph's College who obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in environmental studies. In addition to my Biology coursework, I successfully completed two years worth of chemistry coursework, including general chemistry one and two, and organic chemistry one and two. I love sharing what I have learned with my students! I enjoy learning and teaching about living things in particular, but all areas of science are of great interest to me. I believe learning should be enjoyable, and difficult concepts can be broken down into smaller segments. Utilizing visuals and sharing learning strategies with my students are some of the most effective ways to help them succeed at any task! Friendly, positive and encouraging tutoring motivates my students to do their best! In my spare time I enjoy painting, LEGO building, tennis, bowling and learning more about the world of science! I have been tutoring students through Varsity for two years with great success!
