My passion for supporting young minds has played a role in almost every work experience I've had up until now. These experiences have ranged from my time as a sleep away summer camp counselor in which I worked to instill and practice overarching values with my campers to a daycare volunteer where I assisted young students in everyday homework. I have also worked closely with fellow college students as a mentor. I am happy to work with elementary school to college students in subjects like biology, psychology, English and writing.

Regarding my education, I am a graduate from The Taft School in Watertown, CT and am currently a junior at Tufts University. I am majoring in Biopsychology with a double minor in Child Studies & Human Development and Dance.

My teaching methods focus on identifying what the student knows by asking them preliminary questions about the subject area. This practice of self-explanation helps both me and the student pin point where confusion and misunderstanding may be stemming from. From there, I explain how to grasp the concept through multi-modal methods including graphics, demonstrations and practice problems.
