Certified Tutor

I received my Chinese language education at Western Kentucky University and North China Electric Power Institute in Beijing, receiving my diploma from WKU. I completed my degree with a double major in Chinese and English studies. I have both tutored in and taught ESL as my job, giving me an excellent grasp on the struggles of learning English from a first language and second language speaker. I have been teaching for approximately 2 years now. I specialize in English and conversational Chinese.

I tutor English, ESL, and conversational Chinese. My personal favorite subjects thus far have been in second language education. I love seeing the growth in my students. I seek good interpersonal relationships with with my students, hoping that they can gain interest in their subjects during their time with me.

Outside of work and tutoring, I enjoy film and animation. I enjoy linguistics, astronomy, and art as hobby studies. If a student shares a passion, I hope we can discuss that and use it to make our time together more enjoyable.
