Certified Tutor
In August 2014, my life changed after I received an offer to tutor mathematics at Fitchburg State University. I was a sophomore at the time, and I ended up tutoring at Fitchburg State for the rest of my undergraduate years (three years). I continued my Education at Fitchburg State University and graduated with my MBA in Management in May 2019. While I was in graduate school, I was ineligible to tutor for the university because I was already working in a different department as a graduate assistant.
However, that did not stopped me from continuing my passion of guiding my peers to finding the answers to complex math problems. A lot of my peers knew about my tutoring experience, and I assisted them on the weekends with their math problems.
I believe that you understand and learn more by teaching. Which is why when I tutor my peers, I initially explain to them the important informations/steps needed to solve a particular math problem, and I let them teach me how to solve the problem based on the information they've received.
One of the golden rule of thumb I learned from my 3+ years of tutoring experience at Fitchburg State, is, a tutor should never give the answer to a tutee/student. Meaning, at every one of my tutoring sessions, I'll first ask the student what s/he understands from the problem. Then if a clear understanding is not there, I'll do an example problem similar to the one in the student's assignment. After going through the example problem, I'll let the student take the tutoring role, apply the steps from the example problem, and teach me how to solve the problem from the assignment.

On my hour commute to work, I like listening to self-development/business podcasts such as the Tim Ferris show, the Jordan Harbinger show, business wars, the Danlok show, and a few others. During my free time on the weekdays, I love going to the gym to workout/exercise. And on the weekends, I read some self-development books, watch TedTalk on youtube, and/or do some research.
