I am a Masters student in natural resources seeking to learn alongside students. I believe that tutoring is best approached as a team effort between the tutor and student.
As an undergraduate I worked in environmental chemistry and microbiology labs while majoring in fisheries and wildlife sciences. I also took courses in plant science and soil science to earn minors in those fields. This has given me a broad understanding of natural systems, approaching them from many angles.
For several years I have been working at a forest research and education center. This gives me the opportunity to interact with and educate students on a number of subjects including forestry, soil science, plant science, meteorology, wildlife conservation, ecology and biogeochemistry.
