I am an emergency medicine physician with a passion for teaching. I received my Bachelor's of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Grove City College and my doctorate degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. I completed my residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Michigan. All throughout school, as well as my medical training I enjoyed studying and tutoring other students, and formed many study groups. I have won a medical student teaching award, as well as a resident teaching award. My subjects of interest are the sciences, specifically biology, anatomy and physiology, chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry. I am also interested in helping students excel in the MCAT, USMLE, and even medical board exams. I found that the best way to help the concepts I am teaching to become concrete is to find ways to apply them to everyday life. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, playing games, going for walks outside, and reading books.
