I have been an educator for the past 12 years. I have taught elementary school for 9 years, grades K-5. Seven of those years were as a French-immersion teacher. I have also been a K-5 Science Specialist teacher. Prior to teaching elementary school, I taught and tutored ESL, French, and writing to college-aged students.
I particularly enjoy teaching French and math.
In my free time I enjoy spending time outside hiking, camping, backpacking, or jogging. I also like to play the banjo and guitar.
I believe the best teaching and learning happens when the content is made relevant and personal to the student. It is my goal to help you reach your goals.
