Certified Tutor

I believe in creating better writers and not better writing; not only helping student's on their weaknesses but also complementing their strengths. I have tutored students for over two years and I find the experience fulfilling, especially since I ultimately want to become a professor. I have a BA in English with minors in film and gender studies that I received at Georgia Southern University - Armstrong Campus. During my time there, I worked as a writing tutor at my campus writing center and as a student writing fellow, a job that required me to help assist students in specific English classrooms. I plan on returning to school to get a master's degree in English with a concentration in film. I teach any subject pertaining to English and film, but more specifically essay writing and American literature (modernism and postmodernism especially). Outside of tutoring, I love to read/watch and analyze different mediums like literature, film, television, and pop culture. I love horror films and classic literature.
