Certified Tutor

I love math, especially algebra. My hope is to impart some of that feeling to my students. One of my goals for a tutoring session is to get an "Aha!" moment. That moment when the student "gets it"; their eyes light up and long faces disappear.
I studied math and education at CCSU in New Britain. I received my BS in Education in December 2007. I have been assisting math students with their studies since the 1980's. I work with students on basic math skills through Calculus I.
Away from students and tutoring, I like to read math history and historical fiction. In my free time, I enjoy crossword puzzles and Sudoku.
