My motto is "All of Us WILL Learn!" From the beginning of my 18-year teaching career, I have always strived to meet students where they are and scaffold them to the next level through rigorous, meaningful instruction. I hold a Master's in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas.

Born and raised in Fort Smith, Arkansas, I began my career in 2007 as an elementary school teacher before moving to Houston ISD in 2010, where I worked as a Learning Lab Teacher and Reading Interventionist in both elementary and middle school. I later served as a Literacy Instructional Coach, training teachers how to teach reading effectively and helping campuses strengthen literacy instruction.

As an Assessment and Instruction Specialist, I support schools and families in literacy, classroom management, and social-emotional learning. I believe every child is unique and capable of success. My passion is helping empower both learners and educators to grow through engaging, meaningful lessons that build confidence and independence.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, attending sporting events, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with my 21-year-old daughter! I look forward to working with you to meet your students goals!
