For over three years I received advanced learning in American Sign Language, while also keeping the study material provided while learning the language. I currently work as a lab assistant for Anatomy and Physiology while also being a mental health direct caregiver. I have worked for over the past eight years as a mentor for students in elementary and middle school. During my time with the students, I learned different study techniques, communication skills, and built wonderful relationships with the students; as they viewed me as their best friend. For over the past year I have been working in scientific research, publishing abstracts covering the experiments completed. I am certified as a BACCHUS Initiatives Peer Educator along with being a health advisor.

I enjoy mentoring as I have mentored for over the past eight years. Not only do I spend time working with children but I am also a direct caregiver for adults with mental disabilities. I enjoy cooking and traveling while also exploring the other cultures. During my free time, you will find me singing, volunteering my time in missionary work and simply spending time with my loved ones. The medical field is what I have grown up knowing and I enjoy receiving opportunities to volunteer my time in hospitals, clinics while also preparing for medical school.
