I have passion for teaching and have been providing private tutoring for over 15 years.
I find it easy to relate to students on many levels which helps build a special bond and create a friendly learning environment.
I have helped children as young as 5 years of age. This has included starting from basic elementary reading and writing.
Majority of my students mostly exceed their predicted grades and obtain A/B grades.
Tutoring Experience
I have been teaching up to GCSE level for approximately 15 years now. I have taught adults as well as children, including children with learning difficulties.
Tutoring Approach
I believe in 'no size fits all' so my approach is very much tailored to the individuals needs.
I encourage the children to understand the topics rather than memorising the material. This helps the students to apply the knowledge to many different problems.
At the end of each session I set homework according to the topics taught in class. I also ensure the students are tested regularly to keep on top of their revision. This helps manage the stress levels closer to the exam period as well as identifying areas/topics of concern.
