Certified Tutor

I am a Junior at Fairfield University. I am majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Educational Studies and Physics. I have tutored Pre-Algebra and Algebra II in the past, and am currently the General Chemistry tutor at Fairfield. Helping students is important to me because succeeding academically has become necessary in order to live comfortably in the future. I try to simultaneously help students reach their personal/social potentials, so that they bring winning attitudes into the future as well. I enjoy the challenge of tutoring, as it forces me to think in new ways, and it is rewarding to witness the moment a difficult concept "clicks" for a student. In my free time, I volunteer at local school systems, play intramural soccer, practice the ukulele, and participate in club sailing.
