I am really excited about the opportunity to work with students through Varsity! I am currently a graduate student attending the School of International Service at American University where I focus on International Development.
In the past, I have worked as a French Tutor at Gettysburg College where I earned a BA in political science. Upon graduating from Gettysburg I moved to the Republic of Guinea where I worked primarily as a professional french-to-English interpreter providing services to international organizations such as the World Bank, USAID, the International Monetary Fund and local agencies.
I returned to the U.S this past fall to begin my masters at American University. During my first year at AU, I worked as a graduate assistant to Professor William Belding, winner of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize, and got the opportunity to hone my writing skills by editing papers written by undergraduate and graduate students.
Overall I take interest in a wide range topics that include history, geopolitics and economics; working with students on these topics will be a great opportunity to learn while sharing my experience!
