I have always enjoyed being around children and helping children learn and grow through various levels of instruction and mentorship; but after giving birth to my son (who is now 5 years old); my love for inspiring education in early learners has grown into a great passion of mine. Seeing the excitement for learning and reading grow within my son as I use games, books, songs, and various play-activities that I have researched to prepare him for all-day kindergarten; re-ignites my excitement for education and the motivational atmosphere that teachers help to create and inspire children with. I would love the opportunity to make a difference within my community and help inspire children and their families to take an active approach to education and inspire them the desire to be lifelong learners. Using a personal philosophy centered on getting to know my future students, I will call upon the qualities of effective teachers to create a welcoming and safe environment; setting them up for academic success.
