Certified Tutor

I received an Associates in Science in one year at Harper College and plan to complete a Bachelor's degree in Biology at Loyola University. I want to become a doctor, specifically a pediatrician, because I love biology, and I love interacting with children. This desire of mine has been solidified over the past 4 years, as I have been tutoring and teaching children at home, school, and church. This has allowed me to work with a wide range of students, from preschoolers to high school seniors and every age in between. I have tutored in a variety of subjects, but I particularly enjoy Math, Science, Writing, and Reading. In my spare time, I love to spend time with family and friends, sing, play volleyball and badminton, and dance in multiple different styles and genres.

I strongly believe in maintaining an open and free communication pathway between the student and myself when tutoring, not a limiting and authoritative one. I have experienced this in the past when I was being tutored, and I know it was not beneficial. We are all students learning new things every day, and I hope to be able to help you out or teach you something new.
