Certified Tutor

I am an elementary school teacher. I have taught in the classroom for five years. As an educator I have a passion for learning. I want to see students excel academically as well as personally. I believe that when students feel confident in themselves academically, that confidence starts to spread to other areas of their lives. That is my goal as a tutor, to help students get that confidence in themselves, and to know that they can do math, they are good at reading and writing. I plan on doing this by getting to know them as an individual and learning where their strengths and areas for growth lie. Then, from there, start to strengthen those weak spots by incorporating their strengths. The goal is that by the end of our tutoring sessions, the students will walk away feeling confident in themselves.
