Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of Houston - Victoria, having earned my Bachelor's of Arts in English on December 2017. My work prior to starting as a Varsity tutor is with tutoring other college students as a writing tutor for UHV's Student Success Center. My range of experience tutoring students includes college freshmen up to and including graduate students working on their Master's degrees.
While English is my primary tutoring topic, I am also capable of assisting with math and sciences up to the middle school level.
I believe learning is a process with many different components. The components of learning can be broken down into fundamentals. By building upon our fundamentals, it becomes possible to learn anything.
Outside of academia I am invested in the growing fighting game community. To me it is fascinating to watch the best players in the world match wits and reflexes against each other offers much insight to their thinking and allows expression of their true personalities. Introspection on all kinds of topics intrigues me, and I love finding new topics to think about all the time.
