As a rising junior at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in English and minoring in Creative Writing, I have a lot of experience with reading and writing. In the past, I interned with Promising Pages, a non-profit organization that teaches underserved children how to read and get enthusiastic about books. I have also volunteered with Hands on Charlotte and Carrboro Elementary to tutor elementary school students. My experience teaching children is extensive, but I have worked with many age groups. I have consistently helped those around me (especially my older brothers) plan, write and edit countless essays and applications. I am eager to tutor new students and help them learn the ins and outs of reading and writing!
