I am working on my Bachelor of Science in Accounting at The University of Alabama. I am very passionate about Mathematics (I am particularly interested in middle school math all the way up to Calculus 1, with Calculus being my favorite topic) and Accounting and strive to bring that energy and passion out in my tutoring. I always want to teach students why things work so that they can truly understand the concepts and not just memorize something for a test. I believe in looking at a topic conceptually through definitions and ideas and then, more importantly, applying those concepts by working through actual examples and making real world application when appropriate. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing basketball, and working out.

I enjoy being physically active. I especially love to play basketball and lift weights. I also love spending time with friends and loved ones doing things such as watching sports, playing games, or even just talking. I also like being mentally active by learning new things.
