Certified Tutor

I am currently a student at the University of Portland as a Mechanical Engineering Major. As an honor society student, I first learned about the importance of tutoring. By volunteering some of my time after school throughout high school to tutor others, I learned there are so many different ways people learn. My favorite subjects to teach are math and science subjects. With these subjects, I have noticed changing the approach can make a significant improvement in the student's understanding of the material. As a tutor I make it my goal to adapt to my student's learning style so they can understand the subject better. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, knitting and doing puzzles.
