Certified Tutor

I am currently an undergraduate student at Assumption College pursuing a degree in English with a concentration in Literature and a minor in Psychology. During the academic year, I am employed as a certified writing tutor at Assumption College's Academic Support Center, and I continue my efforts in the summertime as an ESL assistant teacher for adult immigrants in Hartford, CT. Studying literature in Galway, Ireland and gaining travel experience in Europe has fueled my passion for language and culture, and I plan on teaching English abroad in a secondary school setting after graduation. In my spare time, I enjoy blogging, writing poetry, watching the Food Network, and becoming acquainted with every cafe in my local area.
