I am currently studying to earn my Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at NC State University. I have completed all of my graded coursework with a GPA of 3.74. I will graduate in May after I complete my internship at a local mental health agency. I am a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society and the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society International. I am a Guilford College Graduate from the Class of 2014. My BA is in German Literature, and I received a minor in philosophy. In my major, I graduated with a 3.7 GPA. My next goal is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I really enjoy helping people overcome challenges and achieve their goals. It is a very rewarding experience to know that you have made a difference and helped an individual improve his or her life.

My love of teaching is the result of growing up with a love for learning. As a graduate of Guilford College, with a GPA of 3.7 in German, I know that diligence, hard work, and dedication to studies pay off. I also made a 770 on the SAT Writing Section and a 740 on the SAT Verbal Section. I have had the pleasure of assisting with teaching introductory German courses in college and have also enjoyed helping other German students realize their own potential, and improve their grades. It is a very rewarding experience to see a student begin to realize his or her potential and to see their grades and test scores improve. This is a great job! I specialize in tutoring English and German for success in scholastic endeavors, and on the SAT and GED. I am also good at reaching students who have problems with concentration, such as ADD/ADHD or Bipolar Disorder. One of my goals for each tutoring session is to keep the student challenged, but not overwhelmed.
