I have experience teaching and tutoring through all age levels. I have worked with preschool, elementary, high school, undergraduate and graduate students. While there are many differences in learning that accompany age, there is one thing that is the same across all ages: each student has their own individual learning style. Therefore, my primary goal is to not only make the topics fun to engage the student, but also capitalize on their personal learning style so they may have the most success. As I identify their learning style and what is most effective, I also equip them with knowledge and tools related to their learning style so they may become an independent scholar.
As an biomedical engineer, my strengths are in the sciences (biology, anatomy, physics, etc) and mathematics (algebra, calculus, geometry, etc). I also tutor in test preparation (SAT, ACT, GRE).
