Certified Tutor

As a current college student, and an English major and writing minor at Randolph-Macon College, I feel qualified to help all students working with upper-level texts and difficult writing assignments. I enjoy using my own writing and editing experience to help others improve their own skills of reading comprehension and written communication.

During my sophomore year, I had two tutoring experiences. One was helping a friend, and the other was when a professor of mine asked me if I wouldn't mind informally tutoring a classmate. The later was a particularly enjoyable experience. Seeing my peer grow in their understanding of English literature, and knowing I helped, was very rewarding, and I am eager to continue tutoring for this reason.
