Certified Tutor

I am currently a graduate student at ENS | PSL in Paris, France where I am pursuing a Masters of Cognitive Science degree. For those unfamiliar with cognitive science, I like to explain it as a mixture of psychology, neuroscience and computer science (specifically modeling and machine learning).

In October 2021 I graduated from Columbia University with a Masters of Science Degree. This degree consisted of courses in biochemistry, biostatistics, pathophysiology, epidemiology, and public health. During my time at Columbia I pursued research in the neuro-ophthalmology department at New York Presbyterian Hospital and completed my thesis with mentorship from this department. I also served as the BALSO liaison to the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

In the Spring of 2020 I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and minors in Chemistry and Neuroscience. During my time at UNC I made Dean's list every year and was inducted into two honor societies. I also pursued research in the pediatric hematology and oncology department from 2017-2020.

At the start of my undergraduate career I joined a club on campus that gives free Spanish lessons to ESL parents. This really sparked my interest in tutoring because I realized that I would be able to use my bilingualism to help others learn. It also reminded me of the SAT tutoring I had done in high school, and I decided to begin tutoring again because I really enjoyed the work I was able to do in high school, and through giving ESL lessons.
